A Family Tradition
In 1999, Sothea Say founded Restaurant Krong Thai at Les Promenades de l'Outaouais in Gatineau, bringing treasured recipes passed down through generations in Cambodia. Sothea and her family — sisters Sochinda and Sobramey Say, and Vanthan Top — have cooked these authentic dishes from day one. After nearly a decade at the mall, they moved to 205 Rue Bellehumeur in 2009, where those same traditions live on in every Bangkok Soup, every curry paste, and every spice blend made from scratch.
